The Opportunity

The role will involve working with learners who are completing their early years educator apprenticeships or part-time standalone qualifications to allow them to become a qualified early years educator.

As an early years assessor you will act as the main point of contact for employers and students, providing supportive workshops and group delivery, creating action plans, observing in the work place and feeding back on progress as required.

You will undertake assessments in the workplace and in college and complete regular reviews to ensure learns complete and achieve timely.

About you

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable and will be able to motivate and inspire confidence in others. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential.

We are looking for applicants who have recent relevant experience of assessing L2 and L3 Early Years qualifications and who are passionate about helping learners to gain the skills and knowledge needed to enter the profession.

You will perform the role of assessor in accordance with awarding body guidelines and occupational assessment strategy and therefore an A1 award or equivalent assessor award as well as a L3 Early Years qualification are essential for this role.
