A busy restaurant located in Roscommon Town, Co. Roscommon is seeking a full-time Chinese/Asian Cuisine Chef.
This role involves preparing and cooking a wide range of Chinese and Asian dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Control and direct all Chinese/Asian food preparation processes and related activities
Prepare and cook Chinese/Asian dishes to a high standard
Innovate new dishes and help construct menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring variety and quality
Carry out quality checks on dishes before they are served to customers
Manage kitchen staff, including training and troubleshooting when issues arise
Perform any other kitchen-related tasks as they arise
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Chinese or Asian cuisine
Strong cooking skills and excellent knowledge of Asian ingredients, flavours, and techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
Job Details
Full-time: 39 hours per week
Permanent position
Annual remuneration: €34,000
