Global Veterinary Careers are closely working with a well-established 24-hour hospital based in Leeds, as they search for an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a 7 on 14 off basis.
About the Hospital:
This is a modern, progressive veterinary practice. The bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and equipped with state-of-the-art tools including an IDEXX laboratory, digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, IM3 dental machine, IM3 dental X-ray, orthopaedic surgical kit, endoscopy, and Tonopen.
About the Team:
The team is friendly, communicative, and supportive, working to gold standards of care. With 70 team members, including 13 day and 3-night vets, and dedicated day and night nurse teams, as well as supporting day and night VCAs, they ensure comprehensive coverage. A typical night team includes 1 vet, 1 RVN, 1 VCA, and a receptionist, with additional support from twilight RVNs until midnight.

To be Considered:
- MRCVS
- Up to date CPD
- Minimum x3 years UK experience

To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with strong medical and surgical skills. ECC experience is essential. The ideal candidate will embrace all aspects of the position, delivering excellent patient and client care while enjoying the variety the role offers.
